- Relief shown by 250-metre contour intervals and spot heights. Sheet lines derived from grid based on Istanbul meridian. Longitudes are from Istanbul and Greenwich. Istanbul is approximately 28°59' east. Shows Great War battlefieds, mines, roads, tracks, footpaths, boundaries, water features, vegetation, cultivation, swamps, buildings, and built-up areas. Ancillary map: Index to adjoining sheets and magnetic isogonals. Includes a list of Turkish - English abbreviations. Based on Turkish maps. Some sheets were copied from a map by 512 (A.Fd.Svy) Coy. R.E. 1941. Most were reissued by the U.S. Army Map Service. Map Collection is missing sheet 4: Erzerum.
