- Main section of map shows route from Kaomiaotzu (N 36°36'/E 102°01) to Batang. Ancillary section of map shows route from Kalgan (Zhangjiakou) to Kao-miao-tzu. Relief shown by hachures and spot heights. Mr. Rockhill's route shown in red. Dates of expedition shown along route. Includes explanation of Tibetan and Mongolian words used. "Note. At points along the route underlined in Black, sextant observations were taken." Sections of Great Wall along route are shown. From: Geographical Journal.
