Depth curve and surroundings in feet- datum is mean low water. Shoreline shown represents the approximate line of mean high water. The mean range of tide is apporoximately 4.3 feet."Mapped, edited, and published by the United States Geological Survey. Control by USGS, USC&GS, and New Jersey Geodetic Survey. Culture and drainage in part compiled by Corps of Engineers, Dept. of the Army, from aerial photographs taken 1943. Topography by planetable surveys 1954.
