Shows the itinerary followed by the Chinese geographers -- Feuille de construction No. 2 [Reconstruction from the original map map with accurate corrections of latitude and longitude triangulation lines by cartographer J.L. Dutreuil de Rhins. Includes the triangulation from Chobando toTsiando after the travels of Pandit Krichna ( A. K)].-- Feuille de construction No.3 [Shows the positions of Rima et Same and the connections of the rivers of Myanmar and Tibet] -- Feuille No 4 Tablelau Hydrologique [map shows mountain ranges with hypothetical basin boundaries and data of upstream flow of water by monthly period] -- Feuille No. 5 Reconstitution de la Carte du Thibet Oriental [Final reinterpreted map: "Construction of Thibet oriental, October 1886"; by J.L. Dutreuil de Rhins] Relief shown by form lines and spot heights. Accompanying text notes the longitude/latitude and rivers courses mistakes found on the maps by d'Anville, Klaproth (translator of Chinese geography) and Chinese cartographers. Companion text includes a list of the principal travelers, commentators and geographers of Tibet from 1623 to 1886.
