- Relief shown by shading, hachures, and spot heights. Route traveled by author is shown in red. Map shows British Trans Indus possessions, Kashmir territory, and Panjab. Map shows Punjab and Delhi railways. Author explains (in volume's preface v-vii) that place names generally follow the Jonesian-Wilsonian system of transliteration with modification by Dr. W.W.
