- Some sheets are copied from a map by 512 (A.Fd.Svy) Coy. R.E. 1941, Relief shown by 250 metres contour interval, and spot heights. Sheet lines derived from grid based on Istanbul meridian. Longitudes are from Istanbul and Greenwich. Istanbul is 28-degree 59' east approximately Shows Great War battlefieds, mines, roads, tracks, footpaths, boundaries, water features, vegetation, cultivation, swamps, buildings and built-up areas Ancillary map: Index to adjoining sheets and magnetic isogonals. Includes a list of Turkish - English abbreviations. Based on Turkish maps. Some sheets were copied from a map by 512 (A.Fd.Svy) Coy. R.E. 1941. Most were reissued by the U.S. Army Map Service. Map Collection is missing sheet 4: Erzerum.
