Alternate title: Long Branch, NJ. Polyconic projection. Universal transverse Mercator grids are shown. Relief shown by 20 feet contour interval and spot heights. Datum is mean sea level. Depth curves and sounding in feet-datum is mean low water. Shoreline shown represents the approximate line of mean high water. The mean range of tide is 4.4 feet along the ocean, 3 feet at Red Bank, and 1.7 feet in Shrewsbury River. "Mapped by the Army Map Service; edited and published by the United States Geological Survey. Control by USC&GS, USCE, and New Jersey Geodetic Survey. Culture and drainage in part compiled from aerial photographs taken 1941. Topography by plane-table surveys 1944. Culture revised by the Geological Survey 1954." Map is temporarily filed in the Reserve Course Materials Collection.
