Description:
This point dataset represents several landmarks within Kabul, Afghanistan. This layer was published by Afghanistan Information Management Service (AIMS), which contains locations for landmarks such as banks, hospitals, Mosques, police stations, post offices, and shrines in Kabul city. This layer was mapped at 1:5,000 scale from one-meter resolution IKONOS satellite imagery (2000-2002) and certain landmarks were mapped using Global Positioning System (GPS) units. There are about 47 objects in the layer.
